Meet Jen Spaziano

During what she now describes as phase one of her professional career, Jen practiced law for more than two decades with an international law firm in both Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. where she was named one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation

Jen recently left her legal practice to focus on writing fiction — a lifelong passion — and spend time with her nieces. Currently, Jen is working on a young adult (YA) novel based in Rhode Island, among other things.

In addition to telling stories, Jen remains active in mentoring young and aspiring lawyers, she volunteers with Animal Rescue Rhode Island and The Jonnycake Center for Hope, and she enjoys running by the ocean, watching the New England Patriots, and savoring time with family, friends, and her three cats.

What Jen Reads

Some were book club selections, many were recommended by friends or family, several were written by her favorite authors, some caught her eye at her local bookstore, some were available at the library when she needed something to read, some entertained her, some educated her, some frightened her, and some made her cry.
